Description:

• This position provides advanced nursing care to patients with cardiovascular disease: developing treatment plans, educating patients on heart conditions and lifestyle modifications, and managing their care in collaboration with our team of cardiovascular physicians.
• There are also opportunities to pursue interests in sub-specialization areas such as structural heart, vascular disease and electrophysiology.
• The position is clinic-based with occasional general cardiology weekend call coverage at a single hospital with interventional cardiology physician back-up. From time to time, the NP may also be asked to assist with daytime hospital rounding and consults, depending on staffing needs.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
