Job Summary The Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced clinical care to patients with neurological conditions under the supervision and collaboration of a neurologist.
This role includes conducting comprehensive evaluations, managing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing ongoing patient education and follow-up care in an outpatient neurology clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and patient evaluations.
Diagnose and manage neurological conditions, including those resulting from TBI-related injuries .
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists.
Prescribe medications, injections, and therapies in accordance with Texas scope-of-practice laws .
