Unit Summary

The Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Center (JCHH) serves more than 1.7 million people in Central West Ontario. The JHCC includes the Juravinski Cancer Center (JCC), which is an outpatient facility that sees more than 7000 new patients each year. The JCC provides consultation and specialized assessment, treatment and follow-up care for patients with cancer and their families. Services include comprehensive programs in systemic and radiation therapy, surgical oncology, and supportive care. The Sarcoma Disease Site Team is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of surgical oncologists, orthopedic oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, specialized primary nurses, pathologists, radiation therapists, physicists, radiologists and dedicated support staff. This role will support the sarcoma patient population during the diagnostic work up and ongoing care management pathway
