ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Float, works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare (NHC) by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will provide general medical care and treatment to patients under the direction of providers. In addition, this role will assess training opportunities to promote team development. 

This position provides float coverage throughout San Diego County. Work locations may vary regularly and are subject to change at any time based on business needs. Neighborhood Healthcare will make every effort to keep assignments geographically aligned within one of our four primary regions and/or PACE regions. However, in rare instances due to operational needs or coverage demands, this position may be assigned to any Neighborhood Healthcare site.
