Banner Thunderbird is a Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a 40 bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in the care of patients with orthopedic, neurology/neurosurgery and trauma needs. All our nurses are stroke certified and most are certified in Trauma Care. We provide ongoing education to promote professional excellence. The night shift has long tenure and strong teamwork.
