**Position Purpose:**

At **Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center,** the Nurse Senior – Educator, also known as the Nursing Professional Development Specialist, advances nursing excellence through evidence-based education and professional development. This role empowers nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by fostering lifelong learning and supporting clinical competency across Critical Care service lines, primarily the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU), ECMO Program, Intermediate Care, and Trauma patient populations.
