OVERVIEW:

The Nursing Staff Coordiantor position exists to provide staffing coordination to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, well organized, and safe manner, while focusing on delivering quality resident care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes.

• Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardy and early arrivals and coordinate daily with HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.

• Provide accurate and timely reports to DON, Facility Administrator and management on issues relating to staffing, vacancies and agency use, or other topics as assigned.
