Summary

The Nursing Supervisor Homecare is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high‑quality nursing and patient care services within the homecare setting. This role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, supports clinical staff and promotes excellence in patient care, safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs supervisory and/or managerial duties as delegated.
• Provides governance leadership and direction in accordance with the organization’s and department’s goals and objectives.
• Provides for the professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of services and encouragement of continuing education.
• Conducts reviews of staff skills and competencies, ensuring proper clinical orientation is rendered to newly hired nurses or healthcare professionals assigned to the area.
• Promotes and supports a collaborative practice model.
