DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the National Professional Officer (Environmental Health & Climate Change) and general supervision of the Team Lead, NCDs and Healthier Populations, the incumbent will perform all, or part of the following, and other related responsibilities as required by the needs of the office:Contribute to the implementation of national nutrition programmes, which will ensure the development of nutrition programme profiles in the country, benchmark targets and priorities, selection of nutrition interventions, formulation of programme objectives, and developmentof long and short term action plans. Collaborate with concerned government counterparts on public health programmes related to nutrition and provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and other ministries.
