THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION
JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The OB Educator assists in the day-to-day operation of the High-Risk OB/GYN grant. This position will provide educational assistance and patient follow-up information to healthcare providers in a five-state, eighty-county referral area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides delivery/discharge summaries on women who received prenatal care at non-Regional One Health (ROH) clinics or physician offices in Memphis and surrounding areas but delivered at ROH. Provides delivery/discharge summaries on women who were transferred from outlying hospitals and admitted to ROH for care as inpatients.
