Assists in cesarean section procedures under the supervision of physicians, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel. Responsible for creating and maintaining the sterile field. Prepare the operating room by collecting needed supplies and equipment. Functions within the sterile field by passing instruments and other supplies to surgeons and providing visualization through retraction. Provides high quality care to obstetric surgical patients. Provides basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Adult, Medical/Surgical, Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adults, Adolescent, and Women and Family.
