About this position
The occupational therapist evaluates, establishes treatment programs and provides individualized compassionate care to customers. The goal of care is to prevent, correct, or alleviate disability, as well as to educate the customer/family about their role in the plan of care. The occupational therapist functions is a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, and collaborates with other caregivers with the goal of providing high quality customer care. The occupational therapist also participates in department decision-making, improvement activities, and projects designed to improve customer care standards in the department.
Requirements
Education
• Baccalaureate or Master's degree from an AOTA accredited school of occupational therapy.
Experience
