Ocean Steel is searching for an enthusiastic apprentice in Industrial Mechanics with at least 3 years of experience. You'll perform maintenance on a variety of machinery, including conveyors and CNC bandsaws, while also maintaining pneumatic systems. Your role will involve inspections, repairs, and support for capital project improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine maintenance on fabricating equipment
• Repair and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment
• Assist with maintenance of building infrastructure
• Document maintenance activities and logs
Requirements:
• Must be at least a 3rd year Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
• Familiarity with electrical systems and PLC is a strong asset
