Summit Search Group has been retained by the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region (WMR) on the recruitment of an Office Administrator on a one-year term with possibility for extension. Established in 1998 and operating as a statutory corporation under the Province of Manitoba, WMR serves as the coordinating body for municipalities across Manitoba’s capital region, including the City of Winnipeg. Home to two thirds of Manitoba’s population and a major driver of the province’s economic activity, the region depends on WMR to ensure that growth, land use, infrastructure, and services are planned with coordination and purpose across municipal boundaries.

WMR’s work centers on the cross-boundary challenges that no single municipality can address alone: infrastructure investment, housing and land use, economic development, and environmental resilience.
