Job Summary

To administer Legal Claims Trusts (RAF and Medical Negligence) in accordance with the Trust Mandate. Responsible for taking all assets forming part of the trust into possession and to invest and administer these to the optimal benefit of the beneficiaries within the parameters of the Trust document and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trust Administration

   • Administer trusts in accordance with trust deeds, legal requirements, policies and procedures.
   • Ensure trust assets are correctly transferred, protected and insured.
   • Manage property-related matters, including insurance, rates, taxes, rental agreements and tenant administration.
   • Review and process beneficiary requests, allowances and ad hoc payments.
   • Oversee trust terminations and distributions to beneficiaries.
   • Maintain accurate records, correspondence and trust documentation.
