O&M Wind Turbine Technician

Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for an O&M Wind Turbine Technician to join our team to support operations and maintenance at Gesner Wind Farm in Muirkirk, Ontario. The technician must be competent and qualified to work on Gamesa G97 or Vestas V90 wind turbines. Specific training and electrical / mechanical competencies are an asset. Here's what you will do as a Wind Technician:


+ Full time home position at Gesner Wind Farm in Muirkirk, Ontario.

+ Support the site On-Call Program on weekends.

+ Climb wind turbines (upwards of 130m) to perform diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components/systems.
