Operational Accountant

Type: Permanent | Office-based (Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30)

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Operational Accountant to support financial operations through accurate reporting, strong controls, and process improvement.

Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable and support Accounts Receivable Review financial transactions, VAT and reconciliations Prepare VAT returns and financial reports Maintain the Fixed Asset Register Identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with SARS, Tax and VAT requirements Assist with audits and stock takes Requirements Completed Accounting Degree Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Retail experience advantageous Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics beneficial) Own reliable transport How to apply
