Position Overview

Operations Controller, investment team within Insurance

Oliver James are very excited to be supporting a prestigious Global insurance firm with their search for an Operations Controller to join their private equity arm. This is a unique opportunity to truly make your mark, working primarily within the 1st line of defence. You will be working across teams and speaking directly with clients on a daily basis. 
Main responsibilities:
Report into the Operations Manager. 
Provide 1st line support to the business. 
Onboarding new clients. 
Oversee AML and PEP due diligence checks.
Interact with the Group Financial Crime team.
Complaints handling. 
Staying updated on relevant FCA and PRA updates.
Key Skills:
Strong experience of working in a regulated firm.
Experience within insurance and Lloyd's is highly desirable. 
Knowledge of consumer duty principles. <...
