Position Summary:
This position will provide assistance to linemen and other line personnel in connection with the construction, maintenance, service, and repair of the electrical system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist linemen, as instructed, in the preparation, construction, replacement, and maintenance of electric distribution lines, structures, and equipment.
2. Perform manual labor-type tasks such as assisting in digging and tamping pole holes, cleaning vehicles, and loading materials.
3. Anticipate linemen's needs and supply them with proper tools, equipment, and materials.
4. Ensure all tools, equipment, and unused materials are returned and replaced on the line truck after the completion of a job or the day's work.
5. Responsible for compliance with the Cooperative's safety rules, policies, and procedures.
