Team Leader – Manufacturing Cell

The Team Leader leads a cell team of 4 to 25 individuals (apprentices, technicians, manufacturing engineers, etc). They ensure the facility operates to appropriate processes and behaviours, delivering performance for safety, quality, cost, and delivery against agreed targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all appropriate processes and act as a role model for desirable behaviour.
• Be accountable for the cell team’s health and safety.
• Manage the team’s absence and behaviours to meet the expectations of the MTC, including performance management where appropriate.
• Inspire a culture of continuous improvement and empower team members to resolve issues independently.
• Have the authority to stop work and tasks when behaviour or process is inappropriate or unsafe.
