PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To manage the plant and the production team according to safety standards to attain production targets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12/ STD 10 / NQF Level 4 is essential
Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy Degree or NQF 7 Equivalent
Minimum 5 years Metallurgical/Platinum/ Plant experience is essential
3-5 years Managerial position in a Processing plant environment is desirable
COMPETENCIES:
Processes: Crushing, Milling, Floatation & Thickener Operations.
Engineering Knowledge
Metallurgical Data Interpretation
Extractive and Pyro knowledge
Safety Principles and Knowledge of the MHSA
Environmental Knowledge And associated legislation.
MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
Financial/Commercial Skills
