Vacuum Truck Operator Overview

The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services include hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/material. The chosen individual will perform these activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment in an industrial setting
• Perform physically demanding tasks
• Maintain detailed, accurate transportation documentation to accompany work performed
• Professionally represent GFL and provide exceptional service to all clients
• Complete daily equipment pre‑trips and logs required for safety and service schedules
• Participate in GFL’s safety programs including safety meetings, last‑minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments
