UPMC is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support the Department of Ophthalmology located at 4401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care in a busy ophthalmology practice. Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, performing visual acuity testing, administering eye drops and dilation as directed, and completing ocular imaging when needed. The Ophthalmic Technician will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
