**Job Summary:**

Recruiting a highly motivated physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Surgery team at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

**Job responsibilities include:**

+ Preoperative assessment, intra-operative assistance, and postoperative care in the hospital
+ Preoperative evaluation, postoperative followup, and on-going care in the clinical setting
+ Daily rounds, document notes, writing new orders and discharge instructions
+ Consults in hospital
+ Surgical First Assist to Othopaedic Surgeon for elective cases and when on Trauma call

**Job Requirements:**

+ Orthopaedic experience preferred
+ Strong work ethic with an ability to adapt to a variety of work responsibilities
+ Self-motivated to learn and work independently
