The Department of Surgery at UHNBC is inviting applications for a full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon. In this role, you will collaborate with other specialists to deliver care across Northern BC. Responsibilities include managing trauma cases and conducting surgeries on sports injuries, foot and ankle, and arthroplasties. Opportunities for teaching medical professionals are also provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma and orthopaedic call coverage
• Manage around 120 trauma cases each year
• Teach medical students and elective learners
• Oversee the referral process from family physicians
• Participate in hand call coverage
