Job Details: Out Island Mates:

Out Island Mates lead Out Island Adventure crews throughout the entirety of their seven-day adventure. Out Island mates are responsible for their crew from the moment they arrive until the moment they depart, which includes five days and four nights on primitive Big Munson Island. Mates will facilitate activities such as kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, and canoeing, and serve as a guide for the crew, all while maintaining safety standards and an enthusiastic attitude. They serve as first mates aboard a 45-foot Corinthian and a 28-foot center console. Mates are responsible for mediating conflict, motivating participants, and developing crews' leadership skills. Mates will work in groups of two to five other mates and must be a team player.
