Job Description
Summary
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) reports to the site supervisor and the radiology manager. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations for physician interpretation.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements (Education, Work Experience, Licensure, Registry &/or Certifications)
Graduated from an accredited school of imaging.
Registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) in MRI.
Must obtain registry within 1 year of hire.
Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be familiar with age-specific criteria.
