Owner Operator (Courier)

We are looking for an Owner Operator (Courier) to bring in their own vehicle and based out of Nanaimo. Servicing the Quailcum Beach to Fanny Bay area.

Vehicle requirement: Cube Van 2021 or newer

Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract (no more than 4 demerit points)

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and delivery of customer packages.
• Based out of our Nanaimo Depot.
• Ability to meet and maintain service requirements.
• Load and unload own vehicle.
• Perform additional pick-ups and deliveries as required.
• Accurate completion and daily submission of required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with both internal customers (Purolator managers, employees, dispatch, and other contractors) and external customers.
• Responsible for hiring relief driver to cover absences.
• Additional duties as required.
