Job Description

The Junior Packaging Engineer is an entry-level engineering role designed for fresh graduates or early‑career engineers eager to build expertise in packaging design, testing, and qualification within a world‑class technology company.

You will work closely under the guidance of Senior Packaging Engineers, gaining hands‑on experience across packaging design, lab testing, vendor coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration. This role is a strong foundation for a long‑term engineering career at Western Digital.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation

• Assist in packaging design and development activities under senior engineer supervision
• Prepare and maintain packaging specifications, BOMs, and technical drawings
• Support CAD modeling and packaging structure updates
