**Job Description**

The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of processing and packaging equipment from start-up to shut-down to produce safe, high-quality food products. This role includes operating both manual and computer-controlled machines, performing set-ups and changeovers, and supporting the mixing and cooking of candy recipes to ensure consistent, reliable production.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently from start-up to shut-down to produce food products for human consumption.
+ Perform equipment set-ups and changeovers based on the production schedule and product requirements for the day.
+ Change programs and parameters in chocolate tempering machines, depositors, enrobers, and other food processing and packaging machines to achieve desired product specifications.
