Job summary
As a Band 6 post the applicant should have experience working as an OT with children. However, an experienced, highly motivated and pro active Band 5 without experience working with children would be considered for a B5 role.
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and forward thinking Occupational Therapist with experience of working with children and young people with physical disabilities, to join the Children's Community Occupational Therapy Team covering South Cumbria, on a fixed-term basis.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy is essential and experience working with children.
The Occupational Therapy team enables children and young people with acute or chronic illness and/or disability to work toward meaningful occupation focused goals. They work with both children and young people and those who support them, creating an environment in which they can succeed in reaching their full potential.
