**Painter Helper - Immediately Hiring - San Diego, CA**

**Job Description**

+ This role involves supporting skilled painters in preparing wood or metal surfaces for painting by removing contaminants such as dirt, grease, rust, and scale. You will assist in masking and taping areas not requiring paint and help in painting parts, equipment, and structural surfaces inside and outside ships and shipyard buildings. Additionally, you will mix materials according to Product Data Sheets and perform touch-up work as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Clean and prepare wood or metal surfaces for painting, ensuring removal of dirt, grease, rust, scale, and other contaminants.
+ Mask and tape areas not requiring paint.
+ Paint parts, equipment, and structural surfaces on the interior and exterior of ships and shipyard buildings.
+ Mix materials in accordance with Product Data Sheets.
+ Inspect prepped and painted areas and perform touch-up work as needed...
