Position Summary
Provides advanced pre hospital care to patients, respecting their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Practices paramedicine within the statutory and regulatory framework established by State of Connecticut Office of Emergency Medical Services. Must be able to lift and move patients while utilizing various types of transportation and transfer equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
* A Paramedic who is a graduate of a state (not necessarily CT) approved paramedic training program, currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut.
* Has the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and deliver emergent care in a safe manner.
