JOB SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, recruits, trains, and supports parents in teaching their preschool aged children cognitive and literacy strategies, home-based and school- based, as part of the HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) program and curriculum.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Meets with assigned families each week for instruction of the HIPPY curriculum through role playing, at families’ homes and at school when needed.
  • Completes data entry and report generation of Efforts To Outcomes (ETO) for national HIPPY data base regarding assigned families. Manages families’ schedules and monitors participation in the program.
