Responsibilities

This position works in the Parks – Parks Administration & Systems organizational unit. This is technical and administrative work in the development, implementation and maintenance of the City’s Parks Asset Management Program. The incumbent supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Parks asset management programs, related software systems, operational processes, and workflows to guide the sustainable management of City parks assets, including fixtures, structures, and ancillary equipment; and coordinates the preparation of parks maintenance capital plan submissions. Also prepares long-term life cycle cost analysis for key parks asset components; analyzes asset, work order, service request, reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and related maintenance data; makes recommendations on capital replacement schedules for the purposes of budget planning; prepares contract specifications and related documents; initiates work ...
