The Sessional Lecturer will teach 75% (nine lectures) of the one-half credit course, CMSD 5220: Diagnostic Audiology, in the Master of Science program in audiology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the fall term September to December 2026.Β
Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer will coordinate with the Professor of Record of this course and report to the Director of the School.
This course considers the principles and methods of basic audiological diagnostic investigation. Emphasis is placed on speech audiometry, clinical masking, and aural immittance measures. A laboratory component provides experience with measurement techniques and exposure to the instrumentation used in these measures.
