The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University seeks a Part-Time Faculty to teach HOM/MHL 267 European Music before 1800 (3 Credits) for the Department of Art & Music Histories during the Fall 2026 semester.


This class focuses on European music before 1800 in its cultural and philosophical contexts through extensive listening and analytical focus on selected composers and works. Presupposes familiarity with musical notation, terms, and contexts.


The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department. This position is subject to funding availability and enrollment.
