As a lecturer in Laboratory Techniques (Biotechnology), you are responsible for transmitting your knowledge to students, designing course content and evaluating learning. Among the skills and concepts taught are:
Cell biology, genetics and microbiology;General, organic and analytical chemistry;Biochemistry and molecular biology;Instrumental analysis techniques and quality control;Cell cultures, bioprocesses and fermentation;Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), WHMIS and Biosafety;Mathematical and statistical tools applied to biotechnologies.
