Division: Postmedia Parcel Services

Responsibilities

• Prepare stations for inbound parcels: set up racks, bags, cages for sorting.
• Ensure labeling with correct hub/sort codes.
• Scan, sort, and place parcels within stations in appropriate labeled bags/cages.
• Verify sort codes to match with proper bags/cages to eliminate missorts.
• Ensure proper use of provided equipment.
• Bring missort/package issues to admins.
• Bag/cage all sorted freight and stage freight for carriers.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
• Clean facility as required.
• Update respective leads of any supplies needed, damages, and any delays or issues encountered.
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
