NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Kawader Research Assistant Fellow position in Film and Media within the Arts and Humanities division under the supervision of Prof. Surabhi Sharma.

The successful candidate will support ongoing film projects that require independent research assistance from different stages of production including pre-production production and post-production. Film projects include a documentary and music collaboration along the Silk Route from North-West China to Central Asia to South Asia and the Arab World. A second film project includes research on circulation of people material and culture within the Indian Ocean.

This position includes mentoring of the Research Assistants own film project from proposal writing to research to production and exhibition.
