This is a part time PRN day shift Pathologist's Assistant position for St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Shifts available are 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. No weekends!

**Pathology ASCP certification and previous experience highly preferred.**

**Job Summary:**

Under general direction, assists the pathologists in preparing and grossing anatomical specimens for routine histology testing and staining.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Assigns priorities and batches of the specimens.
+ Trims, labels, processes and preserves specimens.
