Job Description Summary
The Patient Care Technician functions as a clinical support partner, assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. Additionally, the Patient Care Technician may assume the responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator and a *Telemetry Technician.
**Cardiovascular-Thoracic Unit:**

+ We are a 27 bed unit
+ We care for patients coming from the PACU, Cath Lab, ICU and ER.
+ Patient types we care for are STEMI’s, Heart Failure, Post Open Heart, TAVR’s, Carotid’s and all things Rhythm Related.
+ We overflow for the ICU and therefore have a wide variety of patient acuities.
+ As a PCT on CVTU you will also be trained as a telemetry tech and have the opportunity to work in the Northern Tele Hub where we monitor patients from 5 different hospitals. **_*Pay increase will be given once you pass the telemetry test and complete a telemetry orientat...
