GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Responsibilities: Monitors patients by use of video monitors.| Communicates and/or instructs patients by use of 2-way audio device.| Notifies clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.| Completes documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
