Essential Duties and Responsibilities


+ Greet, register, instruct and provide general assistance to patients while providing superior customer service and respect to patients and families.

+ Handles telephone calls in a timely manner, connecting caller to appropriate floor or department; pages individuals as needed. Ensures information taken is accurate and kept confidential. Maintains the physician Preference Call Sheet. Maintains the daily On Call List.

+ Admits inpatients and outpatients by preparing admitting form, ID bracelet. Appropriately bands all patients meeting the banding criteria. Transfers patients to treatment destination. Obtains appropriate signatures and insurance information and distributes Hospital packet to patient. Ensures accuracy of all demographics.
