**UW Medical Center-Montlake - ED Registration Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Services Specialist Lead** .

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ 75% FTE (30 hours per week)
+ Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
+ Night Shift

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** ​

+ Supports the ED Supervisor in coordinating clerical and support activities for PSS staff
+ Serves as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure smooth communication
+ Provides guidance to PSS staff, including involvement in hiring, training, and performance feedback

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to departmental policies and procedures
+ Uses medical terminology and reference resources effectively; may perform billing and data entry
+ Acts as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and hospital staff
