SITE - Butterworth Hospital - 100 Michigan St NE - Grand Rapids

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hrs. a week

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Job Summary

Transports all patient populations to and from examinations and treatments. Performs general errands and other routine duties including cleaning equipment, securing supplies, and other tasks as required. Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care. Adheres to unit procedures wherever transport services rendered.


Essential Functions
+ Prepares patient for transport and performs passive and active identification to ensure all patients are properly identified before transporting.
+ Transports all patients and equipment to and from testing and procedure areas including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and high risk Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
