About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our supportive team in Manurewa on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This dynamic role combines end‑to‑end payroll management with providing general administrative and transactional support to the finance team.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you’ll be the go‑to expert for all payroll matters, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with New Zealand employment legislation.

What will you do

• Process payroll end‑to‑end for 200–300 wage employees and 100–150 salaried staff
• Maintain payroll governance and compliance, manage leave reconciliations, journals, and EOFY processes
• Ensure all payroll processes align with the Holidays Act 2003, KiwiSaver and other NZ legislation
• Keep payroll systems (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Workday) updated
