About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Officer for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Manurewa. The role combines end‑to‑end payroll management with general administrative and transactional support to the finance team.
What will you do
- Process and manage payroll for 200–300 wage employees and 100–150 salaried staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain payroll governance and compliance, identifying and resolving payroll risks and issues.
- Handle leave reconciliations, journals, and EOFY processes.
- Ensure processes align with NewZealand employment legislation, Holiday Act requirements, and KiwiSaver updates.
- Maintain and update payroll systems (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Workday).
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and continuous improvement projects.
