Prepare for weekly and bi‑weekly hourly payroll. This includes handling the hire / rehire of employees, collecting tax forms, posting hours and preparing terminations. Monitor and resolve system errors with the team. Liaise with staff and management on payroll‑related inquiries. Prepare various correspondence, statistical summaries, and other material related to payroll function. Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping payroll information confidential. Prepare Records of Employment (ROE) using ROE Web. Perform payroll administrative tasks as required.
A minimum of 2 years payroll experience, processing in‑house payroll. PCP designation or working toward designation is an asset.
