Payroll Manager requires:
- Hands-on Workday Payroll expertise with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end multi-state payroll processing (not simply managing or approving payroll).
- 8+ years of payroll experience (manager will consider 4β6 years if the candidate demonstrates exceptional Workday Payroll expertise and full-cycle ownership).
- Strong payroll accounting experience, including payroll journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end/year-end close, and SOX controls.
- Experience processing equity transactions and payroll tax withholding through Workday Payroll.
- Deep knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax compliance, W-2/W-2c processing, and payroll-related SOX controls.
